<p>Since 1967, Howland Capital has been helping clients build and protect their wealth with a comprehensive, custom approach to investment management and a dedication to their clients’ overall financial well-being. Among those who know Howland, they are known as a trusted, family-oriented firm – but among younger generations, who are often considering self-service financial management and robo-advisors, the value of Howland’s human, holistic approach was not clearly articulated and thus not fully appreciated.</p>

<h2>Concept & Test</h2>
<p>Working with the entire Howland Capital team, including its leadership, marketing, and portfolio managers, as well as clients from the newly enrolled to people who have been with Howland for decades, we concepted and tested new ways to illustrate the value of the firm’s approach. The concepts were built around Howland’s clients’ personal financial goals and questions with responses designed to showcase how an in-depth and holistic approach to financial management can lead to new, more effective solutions.  We also featured the voices, perspective and personal stories of the Howland team – a more familiar way to introduce these people who clients often refer to as a family.<br></p>

<p>To achieve their personal, philanthropic, and inter-generational financial objectives, the people Howland Capital serves need more than the cookie cutter plans they would get at a larger bank, they need more than technology-enabled solutions that are focused entirely on returns, and they need the same level of attention other small firms might reserve for only their wealthiest clients. The new Howland Capital site was designed to show how the firm’s proven team of investment and tax professionals has the insight, experience, and dedication to deliver on their clients’ needs.  Through thought-leadership, in-depth team profiles, and a needs-based approach to highlighting Howland’s service, the site is designed to illustrate the firm’s ability to serve their client’s complete financial needs.</p>
