Delve’s Director of Strategy and Head of Innovation Enablement, Taylor Cone, and Vice President of Strategy, Amy Lee, will be presenting at Voltage Control’s <a href="https://voltagecontrol.com/events/summit/control-the-room/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Control the Room 2023: 5th Annual Facilitator Summit</a> on February 7, 2023. 
Every year, the Control the Room summit aims to deepen attendees’ knowledge of how to facilitate meetings that matter. This year’s theme is “Impact.” Speakers and attendees will explore the ways in which choices affect outcomes, and how facilitators can use their skills and perspectives to have a real and lasting value for teams and organizations as they navigate change. 
Taylor’s presentation, titled, “How Might We Measure 'Impact Potential?’” poses the question, “What if you could plot your impact potential over the course of your project, just like ESPN can plot the win chances for each team over the course of a game? And what if that knowledge enabled you to make the necessary changes in real-time—like the coaches of those teams do—and boost your impact potential when it matters most?” 
At Delve, Taylor’s work focuses on understanding how innovation can be enabled, managed, measured, and improved within teams and organizations of all sizes. 
“What gets measured gets managed,” Taylor says. “From the moment we set out to achieve the impact we seek, our "impact potential"—the likelihood that we will produce the change we're hoping for—evolves according to a variety of ingredients and conditions. Measuring these inputs—and even stating them in the first place—is not a ubiquitous practice. Yet doing so is absolutely crucial if we are to reach a sustainable level of impact.” 
Amy will present, “Start with the End in Mind: Psychological Safety from Start to Finish,” remotely. The presentation draws on her deep background in research, design, and business strategy, and her commitment to integrating best practices of psychological safety throughout projects and sharing its impact with clients. 
Amy’s presentation will provide an overview of what psychological safety is, why it matters, and share practical tools and methods to integrate it into a project’s lifecycle, with an emphasis on retrospectives. 
“Too often we think our work is done when the work feels done, but psychological safety is never done—there is no box to check,” Amy says. “The work of project teams and psychological safety is an ongoing process, and retrospectives are critical milestones in doing that.
