Delve wins awards for REAL System and Ascender
Delve was honored by Core77 and San Francisco Design Week for our work with Penumbra, Inc., on the REAL Immersive System. The groundbreaking system uses immersive virtual reality technology to help survivors of stroke with physical rehabilitation.
This is the second year in a row that Delve has won the Health & Wellness category of the Core77 Design Awards. In 2019, we were recognized for our work on the Dexcom G6.
Delve also received a Notable designation and a Community Choice Award in the Tools & Work category of the Core77 Design Awards for our work on The Ascender by Ciari Guitars. It is the first professional-grade guitar that can fold in half with minimal re-tuning for easy air travel.
“We’re honored to recognized for our work with two very different companies on two very different projects,” said Dave Franchino, President & Principal of Delve. “The REAL system continues our wonderful relationship with Penumbra on a truly groundbreaking virtual reality system for clinical rehabilitation for stroke survivors. And it has been a joy to work on a super-cool travel guitar with the startup, Ciari Guitars. We really believe that working across a wide variety of industries makes our design work and our multidisciplinary team even stronger.”
The Core77 Design Awards recognize excellence in all areas of design with 18 categories that range from client work to self-initiated projects and entrepreneurial endeavors, as well as commercial, cultural, social, environmental, and discursive projects. View all the winners.
